COMBAT! THE BEST OF THE COLOR EPSODES is the only DVD of this TV series to buy if you have limited time to watch these old classics. I would have rated it five stars if the Episodes had not included, Entombed. This episode is just not believable for me because my dad fought the Germans in WWII. Their officers would not have agreed to a temporary truce and that is the basis of this one story.

Join television's bravest WWII infantry squad for a quartet of classic episodes from their classic fifth and final season, the only in color. If you've never experienced the tension and excitement of the longest-running war program in television history, brace yourself for these unforgettable stories of heroism and sacrifice. "Entombed:" The men find themselves trapped in a mine with rescued French resistance fighters, while an enemy lurks within."Headcount:" The soldiers find their numbers dwindling as they must guard a horde of enemy prisoners. "The Brothers:" Two French brothers help the squad in this taut episode featuring Fernando Lamas, Sal Mineo and Ted Knight."Conflict:" Two squabbling members of the squad put the rest of the men's lives in jeopardy.
