(More customer reviews)This is an outstanding series and well worth adding to anyone's TV sitcom collection. But why is the S'MORE Video company trying to pull a fast one here? The COMPLETE series of Good Morning World has actually been on the market since January 2006. I have it. This is the same situation as when Paramount "re-released" It's A Wonderful Life as a supposedly NEW 60th Anniversary Edition when in fact, it was the same EXACT disc that Republic Home Video released a few years earliier. If video companies can't sell the product, I guess they will now DISHONESTLY repackage it as a "NEW" item! Of course this new release is about 10 bucks cheaper than the original which is the price the should have sold it for in the first place.

It's the "morning drive" in Los Angeles, and (David) Lewis and (Larry) Clark discover they have it easy. Dave is a happily married man while his partner, Dave, is a man-about-town, believing he is the ultimate ladies man. Goldie Hawn shows the talent that led to Laugh-In, and Billy DeWolfe shines as fussy station manager Roland B. Hutton Jr.Given its pedigree of executive producers Sheldon Leonard and Carl Reiner, it becomes easy to draw parallels between Good Morning, World and The Dick Van Dyke Show. Here, half the program focuses on what happens at the radio station (as opposed to a TV station of Dick Van Dyke) with the other half focusing on their home lives. The writing is brisk and slick, and the "Nude Ranch" episode stands out as a defining episode, not to mention cutting edge for the mid '60s!
