(More customer reviews)Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The Tenth Year coud've been a lot stronger if that chick from One Tree Hill was never cast as the new District Attorney, the writers came to their senses and got rid of her halfway through the season. Stephanie March returned as Alexandra Cabot, glad to see her back - she is such a natural! Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni continue to impress me, two of the best actors on t.v. Some of the episodes were over-the-top especially that illegal tiger meat episode, what was that?! This show has become kind of campy the last couple of seasons, that can start to annoy loyal fans who have been with the show since the beginning. Good season but ditch the lame jokes.

The 22 powerful episodes in this five-disc set follow the dedicated officers as they work with New York City\'s most heinous criminals, including abusive foster parents, neglectful doctors, vicious smugglers and sadistic kidnappers. Compelling guest stars include Primetime Emmy Award winner Carol Burnett and Hilary Duff. The recipient of 18 Primetime Emmy Awards, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is the gripping series that has critics proclaiming, \'The acting is to be expected and congratulated" (Nina Gooden, Firefox News).
