The slow development of the relationship between Mick and Beth is heartbreakingly realistic. The show is perfectly cast, well-written, and every episode is worth multiple rewatchings; ideal for DVD. Especially notable in the supporting cast is Jason Dohring as Mick's friend Josef, whose boyish good looks conceal the wisdom of centuries. If you love vampires, you will love Moonlight.
