(More customer reviews)After reading the comments I just had to say something. I watched that's my mama when it originally aired. Just like now there weren't any black shows on tv so it was a treat when this show came on just to see black folks. I don't understand all the harsh reviews. It was the 70s and the show was probably written by white people what do you expect. I was just glancing thru amazon and came across this show. For years I had wondered if it had been released, now I know and I will buy both seasons. Not to be critical of it but for the shear enjoyment I remember.

Step into Oscar's Barbershop for another hilarious season of "That's My Mama," one of the '70s funniest hits. There have been some changes- Earl's quit the post office to take up cutting hair, Junior's in college( yes, college) and oddball neighbor Laura (Helen Martin of TV's "227") is along for the ride. But Mama's still Mama, and she's still in charge. Whether it's settling fights or keeping an eye on the money, Mama's the one to count on in this family. Starring Clifton Davis (TV's "Amen") and Ted Lange("The Love Boat's" Isaac), this season of the show includes episodes from the creative minds of TV's "M*A*S*H" and "Barney Miller"
