(More customer reviews)Well what can I say "The Dukes Of Hazzard" Rules. I always wanted to have the complete 145 episodes and now I am so close to have them all with only the Seventh season left to be released.
Somthing changed for The General Lee in Season Six which is the use of miniatures for the stunt sequences, instead of actual cars allowing "The General Lee" to fly even higher even though it did not look exactly like the real thing, but I like it due to the fact that the "Chargers" are safe from destruction :)
The ratings improved over the previous season, but not to same level the series had enjoyed before the walkout of Schneider and Wopat.

The Dukes of Hazzard: The Complete Seventh Season (1985) Review

(More customer reviews)The final season isn't as strong as the other seasons, but it has a good share of episodes. The only episode that was kind of all right was the "strange visitor to Hazzard" (I guess they were trying to get style points for having an alien invade hazzard.). Other than that, I'm happy to finally have all seven seasons of the dukes that I can watch over and over without commercials.
In the final season, toy models of each of the cars/vans were used for the jumps and other stunt sequences. Most of the real "General Lee" jumps were taken from the fourth, fifth & sixth seasons, with the exception of "Dukes in Hollywood", where they used the real Charger for a jump scene, and also "Danger on the Hazzard Express", although it was a small jump. The stunts with the toy models were done well, even though they had the General jumping over bigger objects, like a grain tower. Some jumps you could tell it was a toy model, and others were pretty close to looking like the real Dodge Charger "General Lee".
The episodes weren't as serious as the sixth season, but they had one episode "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Duke", where Luke drinks water that's contaminated altering his behavior, and nearly tearing the duke family apart, not to mention nearly getting 20 years for robbing Boss hogg's bank.
Other than that, it's been a fun ride with the dukes of hazzard.
I'm praying that warner brothers will re-release the two reunion movies on DVD soon.
