(More customer reviews)We first saw Shaun the Sheep on Disney and our son (one year old at the time) loved it so much we bought the DVD set from Amazon UK and a Region Free DVD player just so he could watch it. He's almost 2 1/2 now and still loves it. He recently started watching Wallace and Gromit and loves the trio of shows and the were-rabbit movie, too!

Have fun with Shaun the Sheep and the wacky animal antics from the Oscar(r)-winning creators of Wallace & Gromit. With Shaun, Bitzer the sheepdog and those Naughty Pigs next door, there's no telling what bizarre escapades will happen next as the animals pull the wool over The Farmer's eyes. Shaun the Sheep: Party Animals Review

(More customer reviews)Oh, No!!! They changed the look of the Farmer and Bitzer!!! This was very distractive and disappointing, if you've seen all the first episodes...
They also have tons of background sound effects and noises (like blowing raspberries) that overwhelm the previous quietness of the previous episodes. Sometimes there's value in quietness; it puntuates something to come. Way overfilled with "fluff" noises....
While I understand the need to change the mouths of both the Farmer and Bitzer for quicker transitions for shots, it's just not as high quality as the first episodes. Plus, they completely changed Bitzer's look: extended lighter belly fur up to his new mouthline, and added a fox-like tail....argh!!! It's not the Bitzer we've all come to know and love.
Why did Nick Park, et al., change a fantastic formula that worked so brilliantly well?
Please, people, and fans of Nick Park, email the brilliant man and tell him while we understand the business decision behind it, to go back to the original characters!!!
