(More customer reviews)My 2 year old daughter is a huge Dora fan, and she loves this DVD. The 4 episodes are very good, and include Dora had a little lamb, which is very entertaining, and deals with many of the nursery rhymes our kids see at preschool and look at in books.
The menu selection on the DVD is easy, though I wish there was a way to have the episodes repeat or go back to back with one another- when my Mom babysits, she has trouble turning the DVD on, so easier is always better.
The DVD also contains some interesting features, like games which I think will be good for my daughter when she gets a little older.

I much prefer Dora's Rhymes & Riddles or Map Adventures to this one....

(More customer reviews)There are two great Dora adventures included on this video. In the first adventure, Dora and her friend Boots find out that Dora is going to be a big sister. Can Dora and Boots make it to Dora's house in time for the baby (or babies) to be born?
In the second adventure, Dora must make it to the soccer stadium in time to help her cousin's team, who is 1 player short. Can Dora and Boots get to the stadium on time?
This is a great video for young children. My daughter is a big Dora fan, and these videos are just the right length for her to watch and not lose interest. The stories are lots of fun and encourage interacting from the children. Plus, they promote learning by teaching such things as counting, spelling, and learning a bit of Spanish. Purchase this fun Dora video for your child. They'll be sure to enjoy the adventures with Dora and Boots.

Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom Review

(More customer reviews)The main reason my daughter was so excited about this movie was because of the pegasus shown on the front cover. She's so into horses and if they fly or have a horn...even better. Well, guess what...NO Pegasus in this movie! She kept asking where it was and when the movie was ending and still no pegasus...the tears came (she is a dramatic 4 yr old, but I was even disappointed for her). As it turns out, the pegasus is only in the "Special Features" section as a music video which is about 3 minutes long. What a disappointment. As it turns out she still enjoys the movie (it also comes with 2 other episodes: Dora's Jack-In-The-Box and Bark, Bark To Play Park), but I make sure we watch the music video a couple times before I turn it off. She's accepted it now, but still I wish I would have known before her Grandma bought her this movie.

My 2 yr old Daughter loves the songs and loves to sing along with them. And a major plus is that its pretty long. Just long enough for their attention spans and not too short that i have to keep listening to the same songs over and over again

I was extremely upset to learn that this DVD is just a bunch of old episodes recycled in different packaging. The first episode, "Pinto, the Pony Express" is the only episode we don't already have on DVD. The other three Dora episodes are already on other DVDs. "A letter for Swiper" also appears in the "Big Sister Dora DVD." "Choo Choo" also appears on the "We're a Team!" DVD. And "Hic-Boom-Ohhh!" also appears on the "Animal Adventures" DVD.

Dora the Explorer: Super Babies' Dream Adventure Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter loves Dora's twin brother and sister, and adored the original "Super Babies" episode, so we were thrilled to see a new DVD featuring the twins. This DVD did not disappoint! In the title episode, Dora and the Super twins go on a storytime adventure to find the missing Dream Fairy and help bring happy naptime dreams to all the waiting babies. This was an adorable episode that featured several favorite lullabies like "Rockabye Baby," as well as a replay of the original "Super Babies" song. We loved it!
The other episodes on this DVD include "Dora Helps the Birthday Wizzle" - yes, another favorite friend from old - "Pirate Treasure Hunt," and "Benny's Treasure". All four of these were newer episodes that we hadn't previously seen on TV, which was especially nice as most of the Nick Jr videos we've had in the past include only two "new" episodes along with two older, early season ones that we've seen 1,000 times already. Overall, a very nice DVD!

(More customer reviews)After renting this movie at the movie store for my children (2 and 4) and then having to return it under protest, I decided to buy the DVD. It has two epsiodes on it that are particularly good: my son (2) loves the "Bugga Bugga" episode, and my 4-year-old daughter absolutely adores the jokes in "a Crown for King El Bobo." If you are looking for a crowd-pleasing Dora video that meets the needs of multiple ages, I'd recommend this title! My children's total interest in this one makes any ocassional annoying overtones of Dora tolerable.
